 The game operation of Audition is done by the 4 direction keys and the space bar.
Basically dance in Audition is the product of the input of ¢Ù key notes(direction keys assembled) from the skill list to the 4 beat
music provided and hitting the space bar at the right time.
And the ¢Ú rhythm bar is there to aid your rhythm sense. Remember, even when all player have danced the same dance the score achieved are different depending on the accuracy of hitting the space bar to the rhythm.
So, you will have to be prompt in action to be more accurate and receive higher score, right?
Also, don¡¯t forget, higher the dance level higher the basic score!

And when the rhythm bead just overlaps the beat spot highlighted in light blue is when you need to hit the space bar.
Dance what you want FREESTYLE level!
Freestyle is unique to Audition where you can dance how you want to dance without restriction. You can check the freestyle mode is on as the FREE STYLE! is displayed next to the ¢Ú skill notes and there will be no direction keys shown on it. But don¡¯t be too alarmed~!
Type in the skill note of the dance you know and hit the space bar to the rhythm and its OK!
Freestyle skill list is filled on each successful move made, so better the score more colors are filled in. Also when you have filled in all colors you will progress to the next level. The tip is to get the better score compared to others to break through the freestyle faster, OK? ^^

TIP! Skill Note?
All dances in Audition are composed of each unique skill notes.
When you say Skill Note its referring to the group of direction keys assembled so higher the level larger the number of directions keys included. Freestyle level is where you can dance using the skill notes you already have memorized. Which means each movement has its own code of direction key assembly!
For this reason you need to study hard to claim a great dance your own. |
But what if you don¡¯t know any skill note! Or used up all skill notes you know of~~? Don¡¯t despair and just hit one of the direction key. There you will have the key notes displayed that starts with the key you have entered. Now all you have to do is to type in the keys except the first one which you already have entered and hit the space bar~! Simple and easy, isn¡¯t it? It may be hard to begin with but freestyle level gets easier as you go along with fuller knowledge on the skill notes~!
